Nice day to look at cars and er....headers, and fenders. Just kidding. Had the chance to stop by the Maryland Auto Show in Severna Park and it was pretty groovey. Saw lots of nice cars and some not nice cars. Managed to snag a sweet parking spot through sheer luck but a lot of folks were struggling to find parking, I think the event organizers might not have anticipated getting this many people. Definitely a good atmosphere and with $2 Coors drafts it was starting to look like a good day afterall.

As aI ventured into the fray I found lots of new and old with plenty of muscle cars and street rods. One Corvette had a 2000.00 challenge slapped underneath the hood. I'm not a car show enthusiast by any stretch but it was nice to see new street racers mixed with Vintage cars. Young and old came to see the autos today and the music  added a nice flair to the event. My one complaint which I heard voiced in the crowd was the bikini contest was too short. Amen brother, we were introduced to a bevy of beautiful girls who competed for cash prizes and the applause of the crowd. I don't know if it was just stunned silence from a slack jawed crowd or what, but only one girl really got the response they all deserved. However it obvious these girls came to compete as they were all stunning. But alas if you blinked you missed it and the girls were whisked away by photographers after it was over.
